# REST Quotes API Address Description

> Market base URLs, resource paths, and X-API-Key authentication for the AllTick REST Quotes API.

## API Address Description

The REST Quotes API uses HTTPS. Select the base URL for the product type, then append the appropriate `/v1/...` resource path. The REST API authenticates with the `X-API-Key` request header, not the legacy HTTP Quotes API's `token` query parameter.

### Stock Market REST API Address

For US stocks, Hong Kong stocks, A-shares, and major index data:

**Base URL:** `https://quote.alltick.co/quote-stock-b-api`

Single-product K-line request example:

```text theme={null}
GET https://quote.alltick.co/quote-stock-b-api/v1/kline/{queryData}
```

Batch K-line request example:

```text theme={null}
POST https://quote.alltick.co/quote-stock-b-api/v1/batch-kline
```

The stock product information endpoint is available only for US stocks, Hong Kong stocks, and A-shares: `https://quote.alltick.co/quote-stock-b-api/v1/stock-info`.

### Forex, Precious Metals, Cryptocurrency, and Other Markets REST API Address

For forex, precious metals, cryptocurrencies, crude oil, CFD indices, and commodities:

**Base URL:** `https://quote.alltick.co/quote-b-api`

Single-product K-line request example:

```text theme={null}
GET https://quote.alltick.co/quote-b-api/v1/kline/{queryData}
```

Batch K-line request example:

```text theme={null}
POST https://quote.alltick.co/quote-b-api/v1/batch-kline
```

The full URLs for the latest quote and latest order book endpoints are:

Both endpoints use GET. Encode `queryData` as required by the endpoint and include it in the URL path; for POST requests such as batch K-lines, put the request data in the body.

### Suspension and Resumption API Addresses

The suspension and resumption endpoints use `/v1/trading-status/...` directly under the domain. **Do not append** this path to either market base URL:

GET https://quote.alltick.co/v1/trading-status/nyse/{page}/{size}
GET https://quote.alltick.co/v1/trading-status/nasdaq/{page}/{size}

### Authentication

Include your API key in the request header for every request:

```http theme={null}
X-API-Key: YOUR_API_KEY
```
