The Hong Kong Observatory has issued Typhoon Signal No. 8, which is expected to remain in force until at least 12:00 on September 6. The morning trading session for the Hong Kong securities market, including Shanghai-Hong Kong and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect, is suspended.
If Typhoon Signal No. 8 remains in force at 12:00 on September 6, trading in securities on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will be suspended for the entire day.
