The challenge
Ledger Labs was stitching together three separate data vendors — one each for FX, equities and crypto — with three different schemas, contracts and billing models. Engineering time was going to integration glue instead of product.
The solution
They replaced all three feeds with a single AllTick WebSocket connection. One schema, one key, five asset classes. Crypto coverage they previously lacked came included.
The results
- 60% reduction in total market-data spend.
